The Five Elements

Apart from the concepts of yin and yang, Feng Shui includes the Five Universal Elements:- Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.
The different kinds of chi can be described in terms of combination of these elements. Once you understand the element which describes your prevailing chi, you can start to make connections between aspects of your business and the character of your premises.

Each of the element relates to each others generative or productive connection that provides strength and power and an overpowering or destructive connections that denies strength and weakening.

Knowledge of these relationships is critical and vital in Feng Shui, placement based on misinformation can result in an opposite effect to the one you want to achieve.

Productive Cycle
Wood Produces Fire
Fire Produces Earth
Earth Produces Metal
Metal Produces Water
Water Produces Wood
